Por qué la ventana es más corta. El satélite de mineras de bitcoin solo tiene historia desde 2021, por lo que la cartera completa se mide desde 2022, un período muy favorable para los activos cripto, lo que se refleja en 2023 y 2025. Habrá una: forma parte del funcionamiento normal del sistema. En el backtest (simulado) el peor mes fue −8,7% y la caída máxima −20%; la racha más larga sin volver al máximo anterior duró aproximadamente 13 meses (comenzó en enero de 2022). Más en la nota Qué es un drawdown. En vivo, la caída máxima desde agosto figura en la sección «Resultado en vivo · desde agosto de 2026», más arriba, y se actualiza cada noche sin ningún ajuste. Antes del período publicado, en las tres primeras sesiones (julio), se registró una caída de −6,0 %.
Qué hace el sistema: exactamente lo mismo que en cualquier otro período. Sigue las reglas. Cuando la volatilidad sube, el sistema reduce por regla el tamaño de las posiciones; en mercados bajistas, parte de la cartera queda en efectivo. Nadie realiza ajustes manuales sobre las operaciones, ni en los períodos favorables ni en los desfavorables. Si una regla cambia, se informa (Términos, sección 13).
Qué se experimenta: la tentación de abandonar justo después de una caída. Es la forma más común de perder dinero con un sistema de reglas: abandonarlo en el peor momento.
Lo que Ecliptic Alerts pide: que usted decida, antes de empezar, cuánto capital puede ver un 20% abajo, o más, sin abandonar. Ese es el capital que corresponde destinar a Ecliptic Alerts, y no más.
El drawdown del 20% es parte del sistema, no una anomalía. El peor mes del backtest (simulado) fue −8,7%. Un sistema se abandona en el peor momento: si una caída de ese orden lleva a abandonar, el resultado esperado es negativo.
El satélite cripto tiene un solo ciclo de mercado de historia. Por eso su peso está limitado al 15% y por regla pasa a efectivo en régimen bajista.
Operar acciones y ETFs implica riesgo de pérdida: puede perder una parte importante del capital operado y, en casos extremos, su totalidad. Como no se usa margen ni posiciones cortas, la pérdida nunca puede superar el capital destinado al sistema. Ecliptic Alerts no está registrado como asesor de inversión ante la CNV, la SEC ni ningún otro regulador, y no conoce su situación.
Un backtest no es una promesa de rendimiento. Es la medición de cómo habrían operado estas reglas en el pasado, con costos estimados. Why the window is shorter. The bitcoin-miner satellite only has history since 2021, so the full portfolio can only be measured from 2022, a very favorable period for crypto assets, which is reflected in 2023 and 2025. Its weight is 15%: 70% is the core, with ten years of its own, and the remaining 15% is the Nasdaq accelerator, measured in backtest since 2010.

There will be one: it is part of the normal operation of the system. In the backtest (simulated) the worst month was −8.7% and the max drawdown −20%; the longest stretch without a new high lasted about 13 months (beginning in January 2022). More in the note What is a drawdown. The live max drawdown since August is shown under "Live results · since August 2026", above, and is updated every night without adjustment. Before the published period, in the first three sessions (July), a −6.0% decline was recorded.
What the system does: exactly what it does in any other period. It follows the rules. When volatility rises, it reduces position sizes by rule; in bear markets part of the portfolio is held in cash. No one adjusts trades manually, in favorable or unfavorable periods. If a rule changes, it is announced (Terms, section 13).
What a subscriber experiences: the temptation to stop right after a decline. It is the most common way to lose money with a rules-based system: abandoning it at the worst moment.
What Ecliptic Alerts asks: that you decide, before starting, how much capital you can see 20% down, or more, without abandoning the system. That amount, and no more, is the capital to allocate to Ecliptic Alerts.
The 20% drawdown is part of the system, not an anomaly. The worst month of the backtest (simulated) was −8.7%. A system is abandoned at the worst moment: if a decline of that order leads to abandoning it, the expected result is negative.
The crypto satellite has only one market cycle of history. That is why its weight is limited to 15% and it goes to cash by rule in a bearish regime.
Trading stocks and ETFs involves risk of loss: you can lose a significant part of the capital traded and, in extreme cases, all of it. Since no margin or short positions are used, the loss can never exceed the capital allocated to the system. Ecliptic Alerts is not registered as an investment adviser with the CNV, the SEC or any other regulator, and does not know your situation.
A backtest is not a promise of performance. It is a measurement of how these rules would have traded in the past, with estimated costs. What can be checked is the discipline: signals published before the open and a live result updated every night; fixed rules, defined in advance, no discretion. Past results, simulated or real, do not guarantee future results.

The system does not try to avoid every loss. It can go through negative periods and declines of 20% or more, as it already did in the backtest.
If a decline of that size would make you abandon the strategy, Ecliptic Alerts is probably not for you.
If you do not choose a plan when the trial ends, nothing is charged: the signals are paused, including the sell signals for any positions you hold (Terms, section 6.4).
After the trial: US$ 99 a month or US$ 990 a year (the equivalent of two months free). The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. No minimum commitment: it can be cancelled at any time; signals stop, including sell signals, and the positions remain in the subscriber's account.

Casi todos los días hay alguna señal; en general son pocas.
Las alertas llegan de lunes a viernes, dentro de las 3 horas siguientes al cierre del mercado de Estados Unidos, y las órdenes se ejecutan en la apertura del día siguiente. Los fines de semana y los feriados de Estados Unidos no hay alertas.
Hay dos formas de recibir las señales. Las dos son equivalentes y se puede cambiar de una a otra en cualquier momento.
Aquí se ingresa el capital asignado a este sistema: con ese dato la página calcula cuántas acciones de cada ticker corresponden. Hasta que no se ingrese, las señales no se muestran.
No hace falta enviar ningún dato. No hay nada que copiar ni que buscar. Son dos pasos:
Si todavía no cargó ninguna orden, o quiere empezar de nuevo desde hoy, puede reiniciar: la cartera y el historial de esta página vuelven a cero y recibe una lista de ingreso nueva con las posiciones actuales del sistema. Las órdenes que ya haya cargado en su broker no se tocan.
Al cancelar, la suscripción no se renueva: en un plan pago sigue recibiendo hasta el fin del período pagado; en el mes gratis, la cancelación es inmediata. Después, las señales quedan en pausa, incluidas las de venta de las posiciones abiertas. Las posiciones siguen siendo suyas y quedan en su cuenta: Ecliptic Alerts no opera nada.
